2. Install the T8110B into its dedicated processor slot in the T8100 chassis; seat the high-density backplane connector fully and secure the retaining screws.
3. A companion processor slot is provided for a spare module — fit a blanking plate (T8191 / T8193) in unused slots per the certified configuration.
4. Supply 20–32 V DC via the chassis backplane; the T8270 fan trays must be running (mandatory cooling).
5. Configure and download the application with the Trusted Toolset; run the full self-test and verify 2oo3 voting health before placing the safety function in service.
6. For module replacement, observe ESD precautions and confirm the spare's firmware build matches the system compatibility guideline (ICSTT-TD001).
